Plus, you've got a 2/2 body coming down the pike if you need to go wide for the final few points of damage. If you play this late, you still get that ping (which you probably wouldn't just dropping some other 1/1 haster), and you stick your counter on something big and/or evasive to get the damage through. This might be logical if youre performing a rare special move, but the game is programmed to execute the slo-mo command at random, even during normal maneuvers. Then, turn 3 you get a hasty bear with a potentially relevant ability. If your turn 2 play is a hasty threat, that's a hasty 1/1 worth of stats with various upsides and downsides compared to just a normal hasty 1/1. Compared to a 1/1 with haste, this will do the same 1 damage on a turn 1 attack, and then turn 2 you drop a 1/1 counter. I'd compare it to playable one drops like ].
